Urban race features V&A LAW five-level parking ramp

V&A LAW set a new pace in urban racing as hundreds of runners scaled its five-level parking ramp, which was one of the highlighted legs in the race course of the 2011 Reebok Zig Tech Run held on 05 June 2011.

This year’s Reebok Zig Tech Run was co-sponsored by V&A LAW to help promote good health amidst today’s busy urban lifestyle.

With running divisions ranging from 5K, 10K and 15K, the early morning dash had both men and ladies from all walks of life negotiating the Kalayaan Flyover-CVCLAW Center route, each one staking a claim to highly coveted prizes and awards.

Sprinting in batches of 40, participants from the 15K race category enjoyed exclusive access to the CVCLAW Center’s winding basement facility, where private vehicles of the Firm’s almost 200 lawyers and non-legal employees, plus those of visiting clients and guests, have reserved slots for parking.

The vertical race down and up the ramp proved to be a novel and exciting variation for the participants as it further tested their stamina, grit and form  a challenge not found in other fun runs that are mostly characterized by standard horizontal road races.
