Villaraza & Angangco is pleased to announce the promotion of Atty. Ruth Nichole R. Ureta of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department to Senior Partner.
Atty. Ruth Nichole R. Ureta’s fields of expertise include Arbitration, Commercial and Criminal Litigation, including Litigation on Procurement Contracts and Intra-Corporate Disputes. Atty. Ureta is also a part of V&A’s Arbitration Practice Group.
During her 15 years of legal practice, Atty. Ureta has successfully litigated numerous intra-corporate disputes and prosecuted high-stakes criminal actions. She has also obtained numerous favorable arbitral awards in favor of her clients.
Ruth represents Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation, Lapanday Foods Corporation, Hijo Resources Corporation, JT International Philippines, Inc., AXN Networks Phils., Inc., the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Malayan Insurance Company, BDO Unibank, Inc. and Nationwide Development Corporation, among others.
Atty. Ureta obtained her Juris Doctor from the Ateneo De Manila University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
