The Belt and Road Legal Services International Cooperation (Chengdu) Forum was held on July 29 to 30, 2017 in Chengdu, China. Legal-service organizations from Asia, Europe and other jurisdictions exchanged knowledge and experience on international business practices and development, cross-border legal risks and business opportunities and advantages in Chengdu and other economies at the forum. The event was graced by officials of the People’s Government of Chengdu City. Villaraza & Angangco, a founding member of the Asean Plus Group and a founding signatory of “The Belt and Road Legal Services Cooperation Platform” attended the event. The OBOR platform was established by law firms and legal-service organizations in countries and regions alongside or in connection with the “Belt and Road” of China.
