Professional Background

Atty. Ira Mari J. Sembrano is a Seniorr Associate of the Firm. As a member of the Firm’s Corporate and Commercial Law Department, her practice primarily involves counseling companies on their regulatory compliance and providing tailored advice in the fields of general corporate and commercial law, labor and employment, data privacy and competition law, insurance, taxation, banking, financial technology, and government procurement. Her practice also includes mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and review, and conducting extensive due diligence exercises.

Her experience in the field of labor and employment has given Ira numerous opportunities to guide local and multinational companies on labor matters affecting their operations, including labor standards, labor relations, regulatory compliance, employment contracts, employee discipline and termination, and corporate dissolution.

She joined the Firm and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2020. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science degree, Major in Management, from the same University in 2015.
