Professional Background

 

Atty. Ma. Samira C. Tacandong is an Associate of the Firm. Her practice areas primarily focus on taxation, financial technology, mergers and acquisitions, corporate rehabilitation and liquidation, and general corporate and commercial law. Her practice also includes contract review and conducting extensive corporate due diligence.

 

Samira earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2021 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022. While taking up her law studies, she interned for the Business Tax Group of Sycip, Gorres, Velayo & Co. (SGV). She was also a Research Assistant for the Training and Convention Division of the UP Law Center.

 

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Economics, minor in Financial Management from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2017.
