Professional Background

 

Atty. Ana Bettina D. Caronongan is an Associate and a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. Her practice areas include civil, criminal, and commercial litigation and arbitration cases. She briefly left the Firm to join the government where she served as the Chief-of-Staff to the Undersecretary for Legal and Legislative Affairs of the Department of Education. 

 

Bettina is also a Lecturer in various law schools in the country. She was previously an Associate Professorial Lecturer III at the Universidad de Manila – College of Law where she taught Human Rights Law and Succession Law. Currently, she is a Lecturer at the University of Makati - School of Law where she teaches Constitutional Law.

 

Bettina obtained both her Juris Doctor degree and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Development Studies from the Ateneo de Manila University where she graduated with honors.
