Villaraza & Angangco (“V&A Law”) hosted a seminar entitled, “Safeguard Your Legacy: Business Continuity and Wealth Succession” at the V&A Law Center last April 2, 2025.
The seminar kicked off with dinner and opening remarks from V&A Law Managing Partner Sylvette Tankiang. Reflecting on the Firm’s own 45-year legacy, Sylvette emphasized that safeguarding legacy means more than just protecting wealth—it is about ensuring that your life’s work endures, continues to thrive, and make an impact no matter what the future holds, setting the tone for the sessions to follow.
The program featured three expert presentations, beginning with BCP Asia Managing Director Henry EE’s topic, business continuity. This was followed by an insightful discussion on residence and citizenship by investment led by Henley & Partners Senior Consultant Monina Lagman. Global Max Academy Director Dr Maxine Teo, PhD—who also served as the emcee for the event—delivered the final presentation, discussing options for legacy planning.
To close off the evening, the three speakers reconvened for a fireside chat exploring how business continuity, investment migration, and legacy planning intersect as lasting strategies for securing the future.
Thank you to our speakers, partners, and attendees for a meaningful evening and making the event a success.
