Atty. Ivy M. Bernardo is an Associate of the Firm and a member of the Firmโs Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. She has three (3) years of experience in civil and criminal litigation.
Atty. Bernardo was part of a team that successfully secured a $2 million judgment in a case wherein the Firm represented an international airline leasing and management company. She was likewise part of a team that successfully caused the dismissal of criminal cases filed by the Bureau of Internal Revenue against officers of a corporation. She was also part of the team that recently secured a criminal conviction for perjury against a rogue employee involved in the $81 million Bangladesh Bank cyber heist in 2016 in a criminal case prosecuted by the Firm as counsel for one of the countryโs largest banks.
Prior to joining the Firm, Atty. Bernardo gained extensive experience in representing clients in tax disputes and refunds of internal revenue taxes before the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the Court of Tax Appeals.
Atty. Bernardo was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022 and joined the Firm in 2023.
