As part of its 45th anniversary celebration, Villaraza & Angangco (V&A Law), in partnership with the Manila Water Foundation, held a tree planting activity on 25 September 2025 at La Mesa Ecopark in Quezon City. Over 150 molave saplings were planted by the firm’s lawyers and non-legal staff in a collective effort to help rehabilitate the La Mesa Watershed, a vital source of clean air and water for Metro Manila.
This marks the second time V&A Law has organized a tree planting activity, following its inaugural initiative in 2023, and underscores the Firm’s steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. In choosing to celebrate its milestone through service, V&A Law affirms that the practice of law must go hand-in-hand with community building and ecological care.
The tree planting follows the Firm’s earlier blood donation drive in February 2025 in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, and forms part of a series of anniversary outreach initiatives, which will also include upcoming visits to Golden Reception and Action Center for the Elderly and Other Special Cases (GRACES) and the CRIBS Foundation Inc.
For V&A Law, this anniversary signifies more than a milestone. It is a renewed pledge to uphold justice while nurturing the communities and environments that make lasting impact possible.
