Last July 10, Villaraza & Angangco hosted the Legal 500 GC Powerlist Elite Roundtable Dinner Philippines.
Held at V&A’s Rainmakers Lounge, the dinner gathered over 20 of the most prominent general counsels in the Philippines in one room to talk about the changing role of in-house legal counsels and share best practice and insights on some of the most pressing topics affecting the legal and business landscape. The discussion was moderated by The Legal 500 Powerlist Series Global Editor, Joe Boswell.
Among the topics discussed were the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on the legal profession, the growing importance of ESG in corporate strategy, managing and retaining an intergenerational roster of talents in a competitive market, and the critical role that general counsels play in crisis management.
The GC Powerlist Elite Roundtable Dinner emphasized the importance of collaboration among those in the legal community and further highlighted the collective power of general counsels working together to drive their organizations towards success and innovation.
