She highlighted how the healthcare, generative AI, renewable energy, and construction industries are uniquely positioned to lead the charge in propelling the Philippine M&A landscape forward.
V&A Law Partner Kristin Charisse Siao, shared some crucial legal considerations in M&A, shedding light on addressing confidentiality issues, dealing with co-shareholders in joint ventures as well as merger control and competition-related matters.
Our international M&A counsels, Li Chen from Shearman & Sterling and David Griffith-Jones from Slaughter and May, shared valuable insights and experiences in Philippine dealmaking. Li advised on adapting negotiation tactics to cultural values and discussed the challenges one might encounter when conducting transactions in the Philippines.
