Villaraza & Angangco bags “PH Copyright Firm of the Year” in the Asia IP 2022 Awards for its handling of the Ingat Kayo Marketing Campaign for Nissan Philippines Inc.
Partners Katrina V. Doble and Danielle Francesca T. C. San Pedro handled the review and assessment of Nissan's various agreements with local talents for the use of the "Ingat Kayo" song and recording in connection with Nissan’s marketing campaign. Advice was also provided regarding the legal consequences of proceeding without the appropriate licenses, as well as tax advice depending on their choice of agreement/s.
