The Coca-Cola acquisition by Aboitiz and CCEP was recognized as the M&A Deal of the Year at the ALB Philippine Law Awards 2024.
It was in February 2024 when Coca-Cola Europacific Partners plc. (CCEP), one of the leading consumer goods companies in the world, and Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV), one of the leading conglomerates in the Philippines, successfully acquired 100% of the outstanding shares of Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. (CCBPI) from the affiliates of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) through a joint venture company.
