Congratulations to Villaraza & Angangco Senior Partner Thea T. Daep and Partner Katrina V. Doble for the honor of having been named as among Asia-Pacific’s Top 100 Women in Litigation for 2022 by Benchmark Litigation.
Proving to be a formidable name in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Thea specializes in corporate restructuring, reorganization and insolvency where she handles some of the big-ticket cases in the Philippine legal landscape. She also has an extensive experience in family law, torts and damages, and contracts enforcement, having won landmark rulings before the Supreme Court.
Consistently recognized in the field of Intellectual Property Law, Katrina has covered the full spectrum of the practice, with particular focus on trademark law, IP commercialization, and IP litigation in recent years. She has handled cases that have contributed to the building of Philippine jurisprudence on significant issues for trademarks.
With only nine (9) women lawyers recognized from the Philippines, V&A Law is one of the two (2) Philippine Firms that earned more than one spot in the list.
This is the third consecutive year that Thea has been named in the list having been recognized in 2021 and 2020, and the second consecutive year for Katrina having been recognized in 2021.
