Congratulations to V&A Law for bagging Finance Deal of the Year at the 2023 Asian Legal Business Philippine Law Awards for its work on the DITO Telecommunity Project Development and Financing Agreement.
Villaraza & Angangco, together with Shearman & Stearling, acted as the counsel for DITO for the said 3.9-Billion-Dollar financing transaction. The said transaction is dubbed to be as the largest project finance deal in the Philippines and as of date, the only project finance deal in the Philippines for a nationwide greenfield telecommunications project.
The ALB Philippine Law Awards recognize the outstanding performance of private practitioners and in-house teams in the Philippines. The awarding ceremony was held last 30 November 2023 at Makati Shangri-La.
