Following the success of the First Annual Meeting in Jakarta earlier this year, the ASEAN Plus Group (APG) convened once again in Manila for the second installment of its flagship event from November 12 to 14 and Villaraza & Angangco (V&A Law)—the sole Philippine firm in the network—had the pleasure of serving as its host.
With the theme “Synergies Amidst Uncertainty: Positioning ASEAN-Plus as the Regional Network to Serve our Clients in the Region,” V&A Law formally launched the Second APG Annual Meeting of 2025 with Welcome Cocktails held on November 12 at the Rainmakers Lounge.
Together, V&A Law partners welcomed the APG delegates who flew in from Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Indonesia to participate in the gathering. Chief among them was APG Chairman and RHTLaw Asia Managing Partner, Azman Jaafar. Ayala Corporation Chief Legal Officer Franchette M. Acosta also graced the event with her presence.
Guests were treated to a Spanish-inspired menu thoughtfully prepared by the Private Dining by Happy Concept Group team, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere that set the tone for the conversations and discussions that would take place over the following two days.
