As the first month of 2025 comes to an end, we take this opportunity to recognize and celebrate the well-earned promotions of the V&A Law Corporate and Commercial Law Department’s Ma. Samira C. Tacandong, Rachelle Ann L. Go, and Adrian Paul S. Mallari to Senior Associates, effective 01 January 2025.
Atty. Tacandong’s practice areas primarily focus on taxation, financial technology, mergers and acquisitions, banking, taxation, estate planning and general corporate and commercial law. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2021 and was admitted to the bar in 2022.
Atty. Go’s practice focuses on advising individual and corporate on regulatory compliance, as well as providing guidance in general corporate and commercial law, competition law, securities regulation, foreign investments, estate planning, and immigration. Additionally, she assists in mergers and acquisitions, drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting extensive due diligence exercises, and representing companies before the Philippine Competition Commission. Atty. Go obtained her Juris Doctor from Ateneo de Manila University in 2021 and was admitted to the bar in 2022.
Atty. Mallari’s practice primarily involves counseling companies with regard to their regulatory compliance and advising clients on various corporate fields like data privacy, competition law, mergers and acquisitions, telecommunications, financial technology, estate planning, insurance, energy, and deal structuring. Atty. Mallari has also garnered significant experience in contract review, corporate secretarial work, due diligence, and the formation of corporations and entities in the Philippines. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Ateneo De Manila University in 2021. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022 with Exemplary Performance and joined the Firm in the same year.
