Villaraza and Angangco Law (“V&A Law”) was represented by its Partner Rashel Ann Pomoy as a Panel Speaker at the inaugural Asia Pacific Employment Summit held at Marina One, Singapore on 6 July 2023.
Rashel, who also acts as the Firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group Deputy Head, spoke at the breakout session, “Tomorrow’s pay and benefits”, where she, along with INDUSLAW’s Avik Biswas and TE Connectivity’s Ai Leen Tan, explored the benefit plans and compensation packages that employers are offering to meet their employees’ needs and win the war for talent. The panel also discussed the latest pay and workplace perk trends, including their impact on environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) goals.
The Firm’s Associates Caleb Lauredo and Roy Santos Necesario joined Rashel at the event, which gathered other in-house lawyers and private practitioners from across the Asia-Pacific region to discuss the latest labor-related trends and opportunities facing multinational employers, including post-COVID working practices, cross-border investigations, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, among others.
