Bio

Atty. Kyle Gino M. Salazar is a junior associate with over 3 years of experience in IP. He specializes in trademark and patent prosecution, IP litigation, and copyright matters, representing international and domestic clients in infringement and unfair competition cases before regular courts and in inter partes proceedings before the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines. He also handles domain name disputes, including cybersquatting and unauthorized use of trademarks online.ย 

Atty. Salazar assists in managing the local trademark portfolios of domestic clients like BDO Unibank, Inc., Aristocrat, and Pan de Manila, as well as major foreign clients such as HYBE Corporation, Samsung, Hyundai, Kia, Gentle Monster, and Fit Foods, Ltd.

Atty. Salazar also handles IP licensing and franchising and was part of the team that provided legal support to the master franchisee of one of the biggest fast-food chains in the country. He also assists in providing defensive strategies against potential Standard Essential Patent claims and advises clients on Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-regulated matters, including labeling and advertising compliance for food, beverage, and health products.
