Atty. Augusto A. San Pedro, Jr. was the Co-Managing Partner of the Firm.ย And currently a member of its Executive Committee, the highest managing body of our Firm. He is also the head of V&A Law's Arbitration Practice Group and specializes in commercial disputes relating to joint ventures, banking & finance, restructuring & insolvency, insurance, product liability, commercial & corporate law and competition law. He has over 25 years of experience in trial and appellate practice before Philippine courts, including commercial arbitration. He is also a founding member and former trustee of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Centre, Inc.
Atty. San Pedro, "Gus" to his peers, is consistently ranked in various international publications in the field of Dispute Resolution, particularly in Chambers & Partners Asia-Pacific and the Legal 500. He acts for industry leading clients in the fields of Telecommunications, Banking & Finance and Construction & Real Estate; and has been involved in the most significant commercial disputes in the country.
He has also been a senior professorial lecturer at the University of the Philippines College of Law, as well as a lecturer and bench book writer for the Philippine Judicial Academy.
