Mr. Lopez's practice areas include Trial Advocacy & Corporate Litigation, Banking and Financial Disputes, Corporate Rehabilitation, Appellate Practice, Labor Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Tourism & Leisure, Taxation, and Telecommunications & Information Communication Technology.
Mr. Lopez obtained his Juris Doctor of Law degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law where he graduated with Honors and was awarded the Silver Medal for Best Thesis for his treatise entitled "Is the Head of State Above International Law?: The Applicability of Head of State Immunity to the Commission of International Core Crimes". He was the Team Captain and Best Oralist of the 2005 Philippine Team to the Philip C Jessup International Moot Court Competition held in Washington, D.C. and was the Prime Minister of the St. Thomas More Debate Society.
Mr. Lopez has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University Loyola Schools and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2007.
Mr. Lopez joined the Firm in 2006. Mr. Lopez also served as counsel for one of the major Philippine universal banks and as a judge of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition.
